Can you buy just the dining plan

If you book hotel seperate, can you still add a dining plan. My husband is military and we get a discount on hotel, but not package, so was going to book everything seperate. Is this possible?

I think the DP can only be added if you buy the package. I think its hotel, park tix and DP

The pp is correct that in order to get the DDP, you have to book a package which includes room, tickets, and DDP. But with that said, there is a military offer where you can get the room + DDP and buy your tickets separately. I don't know any details about it since we don't qualify for it, but you can call Disney and I'm sure they will be able to help .

You can use the military discount and buy the dining plan. You don't have to buy the tickets with the room and hotel, you can still buy them at your base or at SoG.

Yes. You can do this. The only people allowed to purchase a dining plan with a ticketless package are those staying on DVC points, AP holders and militarty. Again, this is for a PAID dining plan, not a free one.

Those eligible for the military room discount are also eligible to purchase the dining plan on a ticketless package. Annual passholders have the same opportunity. Nobody else does, except for some occasional offers made to Disney cast members. When you call, say you want the military room plus dining package. (This is still a package and is subject to the same deposit, change and cancellation policies as other packages.)

(DVC reservations don't count as room plus dining packages - DVC doesn't book packages at all)
