Can you buy items online and have

It shipped to your resort? Looking at some items on the disneystore....prices are a little cheaper than the actual store.

If your going to have something delivered to your resort how do you know when to order it at home? For example, if the estimated shipping time on something from the Disney Store site is 7-10 business days, do you just order it 10 business days from the time of your trip?

I do it from other sites all the time, but everytime I have attempted to ship to the US from Disney with my Canada billing address it defaults to shipping to my Canadian address. Even if it looks like it takes it at first when I hit confirm I get a confirmation with the Canada address.

Anyone ever been able to get around this? I only have the problem with the Disney site...

We do this every year from many different websites to avoid the duty charges and shipping charges, and especially the Disney Store site as I love the outlet pages!!
When you check out, use the resort address for the shipping address, but in the first line put "Your Name c/o", then "Name of Resort" and "Res. #......"
I usually order the week before we leave so it's usually there the day we arrive or the day after. If you're only staying a week, make sure it has at least ten full days to get there. They will hold it for you, especially if your ressie number is on the address label so they can add it in the computer - ours is always noted when we arrive if it beats us there.

I intend to order a couple cases of water and snacks from Walmart just before I go and have it shipped to the resort. I always have stuff waiting for me lol

I must admit, I am a little worried...if it gets there early, will disney hold it for us? Is there a special spot to pick on forms, so that the resort knows our resservation number? How do they set it aside?

There is a halloween costume I want to order our youngest...and a store that I would love to order from too...

Not sure what resort you are staying at, but I have had deliveries from the Disney Store to Old Key West, Saratoga Springs and Pop Century, and never had a problem. One of mine sat there for a week. In the address section online I usually put the reservation number either right after my name (if it will fit) or in the second line of the street address where you would normally put an apartment number. If you just order 7-10 days before you leave (if I leave on a Friday, I will order the Friday before) and then it has 14 days to get there. If it's not noted on your reservation that you have a package when you check in, just ask them to check for it. If not, they will leave a message at your room when it arrives.

Yes you can. We usually order all kinds of things before going. We always allow 2 week before our arrival because it takes times sometimes for packages to get to resorts. Whne you do your online purchase. Put your name and reservation number at Disney, the resort address. I try to also add the check in date. So far nothing has been lost nor broken. I usually get a message in my room the day of arrival a few hours after chek in saing I have a package waiting for me at the front desk. I've mailed strollers, Lenox figurines, costumes, dresses and never had a problem. Be aware tho some resort will charge a few per package. I've heard of Colorado and Contemporary doing it. I think it's the ones that have conventions that charge

I want to order something that will not ship to Canada. We are going down at the end of October and are staying at the AoA for 2 nights before our cruise.

Do you think if I order 2-3 weeks prior to our arrival I should be fine? The item is shipping from Florida so I am not worried about it being delayed, more concerned about making sure it arrives early enough but not to early. It is difficult with only 2 days.

It is a pricey item so I want to make sure I get it.
