Can you buy Disney gift cards in resort gift shops?

I know there are several places around property to buy them. I remember seeing them. I just don't remember where.

I can buy them at Target here, but only get 1% on my Disney Premier Visa at Target. I think I would get 2% if I bought them in the resort gift shop. Is that correct?

They may not be available at every resort gift shop or store, but I do remember seeing them in quite a few places. Sorry, I never bought any while on site so can't pinpoint exactly where.

If you use a Target Red Card you get 5% off all purchases, including Disney Gift Cards.

Yes, I know. But I don't have a Target Red Card and don't want to apply for another credit card (and take the ding on my credit).
So just want to get the 2% for Disney purchase at Disney.

I feel the same way. However, you can get a Target Red Card Debit version that draws from your checking account. I know it sounds like I'm a Target employee pushing this, but we recently found out about this and have been picking up a $50 Disney Gift Card every week for our next trip. We're up to $500 in Gift Cards for $475. Every little bit helps.

So just want to get the 2% for Disney purchase at Disney.
