Can you buy beer/wine at PBH gift shops?

I'm pretty sure that when we were at HRH in 06 you couldn't - does anyone know if that has changed?

You can buy bottles of wine/beer for take-out at Sal's deli at PBH.

No idea but there always seem to be convention goers buying wine and wine glasses when we are there.

Bottles of beer are around $5 each at the PBH.

I know you didn't ask for my advice, but I'll give it to you anyway. The Walgreens is within walking distance of the PBH and they have a liquor store attached. Not a big deal to walk (we had to a time or two) and you can save a ton of $$.

There is a walking path from the Beach Pool that leads to the main road (sorry, I forget the name), you take a right, and you'll see the Walgreens on the corner.

So that will make A six pack of beer $30!!
I think I would make that walk to Walgreens...

I would never turn down advice especially when it saves me money but didn't see this till I got back. We never actually bought any alcohol as happy hour CL fulfilled our needs (plus we always filled up for last call and packed one to go ) in fact we ended up leaving some extras in the minibar.

Thanks for the advice though. Interestingly enough the prices in Sals for beer/wine etc are not conspicuously posted nor are they on the bottles so my immediate reaction was "if you have to ask you can't afford it"
