If so..what kinds of things are you all bringing?? And if Not..what are you all bringing?

It will be 4 adults and one child.
Also, are there refillable mugs you can buy in the park...that you can refill all day? And does anyone remember how much those were??

Thanks so much!

I believe the refillable mugs are 11.99 they can be refilled unlimited during the length of your stay at your resort only. As for the soft sided coolers, I saw people with them last summer, that is where I got the idea from and I packed one for us when we go in 12 days! Hope this helps!

I always bring a softsided cooler. I freeze water bottles and use that as my ice paks this way the cooler isn't heavy when the stuff is all gone. We carry water, juices, and sodas. For the kids yogurt and cheese sticks.
With 4 kids I just can't afford to eat in the park all day. We'll have one meal in the park a day.

We usually bring a small one. I pack frozen water bottles, frozen juice boxes (often don't drink them so just use for chilling), carrots, cheese, fruit. I usually also bring pretzels or cheerios and keep them on me at all times for emergencies. :)

we also use a soft-sided cooler ... for water mostly.

but this summer ... we used it to transport our desserts coz we had dining plan. pecos bills and cosmic rays have nice pre-packaged desserts that held up beautifully. we just popped them in our room fridge ... and ate them for midnight snacks ... two brownies even made it home.

also after birthday dinner at LTT we were able to fix the leftover (and very tasty) birthday cake in our bag.

Yes you can bring soft-sided coolers into the parks.
We are a family of 6 (2 adults 4 kids). We buy boxes of Kool Aid Jammers and put as many as we can fit into the freezer every night and fridge the rest. Repeat this process every night so you'll have chilly ones for the next day. We also take fruit snacks, packaged crackers, stuff to make PB&J sandwiches, rice krispy treats, powdered drink mix, etc. We take a canister of kool aid and ask for free cup of ice water and a spoon from the park counter service..never had one say NO, but that is only when we run out of the drinks we already brought with us. The kids really like when we stop to have our picnic in the parks too.
Our cooler is a backpack type. The bottom is the cooler part and the top is non-insulated. We stash it in the stroller so we don't have to worry about it weighing too much.
Since our family is so large, we do breakfast in the room, eat lunch from the stuff we brought with us, and then buy a meal in the park if we are staying late that day, or go offsite for a meal and hang out in the resort pool.

Where did you buy the cooler backpack? What exactly is it like?

It's actually a promotional backpack from Snapple, lol. I haven't seen these in stores, got it from someone that won it in a promotion.

I just got a promotional one from Walgreen's today. They give it to you when you check out. Looks like you can get about 6 Coke cans in it. You might check that out. ::MinnieMo

We just returned lastnight and we took our softside cooler to the park each day. We had water and fruit in ours. I just took the ice bucket in the room filled it up and poured that ice in my cooler. It last all day long from 9 until around 8 and the water was still cold after that. The security will check it out, but no problems at all.

I used one that fit in the basket of my stroller.I put water and grapes in it.I also took packets of Crystal lite for when we were tired of water. One day I took juice boxes. The time before that I took some food but this time we had the dining plan and were stuffed. :)

DH and I received a cooler backpack for our wedding. It came from the Gourmet Chef, which is a kitchen gadget store, usually found in outlet centers. I saw them later and they were around $30 each. It had three zippered sections, plenty of room for a picnic lunch for 4-6 people (or more depending on how much you eat!), and space for maps and souveniers. Ours also came with plastic wine glasses, two place settings (plates/cutlery), napkins, and a tablecloth. Oh, and a wine bottle holder on the side, which we took off (velcro). It looks like a regular backpack, though it has the texture of a soft-sided cooler.

We just got back, ours was one of those coolers that has the hard inside, vinyl type material outside. Took it with water, juice, snacks PB&J sandwiches..no problem. Security will look it but other than that no problems at all!
