I know they do not allow coolers but someone told me you can't take a single thing in with regard to food/drinks. No water bottles? Not a single granola bar? Is that true? DD is going soon and I had planed on having her throw a few granola bars and a little bag of cashews into her purse. Will they confiscate it?

I had granola bars in my camera bag, which they checked, and I also walked in finishing my bottled water. So unless something has drastically changed in the last two weeks I don't think you need to worry about small stuff.

Thanks! That sounds reasonable. The person I talked to made it sound like they would be strip searching DD! :rotfl: We haven't been in about 12 months but I didn't think things had changed that much.

Last time we went we brought a full picinic lunch and ate it while waiting for the sealion show. We brought them in soft lunch box coolers and no one said a thing. We had sandwiches and yogarts and soda and water and chips....

SW lets you bring in individual sized (not family sized) food. That means you can bring a 20oz soda but not a 2 liter bottle. You can bring a small bags of chips but not a large bag.

BG had a sign that said no outside food or drinks. It didn't look like it was being enforced.

Was there yesterday and brought in a soft sided cooler with waters, sandwiches and snacks. At lunch while waiting for Blue Horizon show to start. I guess YMMV.

We were there in April and packed in snacks and water. Took them in a carry bag and noone said a word when they rifled through. It was nice to have our own snacks so that we could eat cheaper for lunch. :goodvibes
