can you bring snacks in? Like Pop-Tarts/granola bars?

Since it is suggested to not eat prior to riding FJ...and my kids are not really morning people meanignthey do not like to eat as soon as they wake up. To ward of headaches, grouchy-ness, I wanted to bring something for them to eat after the ride, tie them over, want to make the most of our 2 hours in WWOHP. I know at WDW we can bring in a smaller cooler with sandwiches , does US/IOA allow the same?

We've brought sandwiches and snacks in our backpack on previous trips to the parks without problems.
