Wondering if it's better to book a b2b on the ship or even if you can do that ? What is the best way to do it ?

I believe, if there's availability, you can book a room for the next cruise. Not sure whether OBB perks would apply, however.

If there is availability on the next cruise, yes you can book it. You'll have to PIF at the time you book, and the chances of staying in the same stateroom B2B are probably slim. But yes it can be done.

Enjoy your cruises!

I'm basically wondering if it would be cheaper than booking them together?

A back to back isn't booked together. They are separate reservations.

If you book it now, you'll get today's pricing and you get your pick of rooms etc. If you wait, there might not be any rooms, there might only be rooms you don't want or can't afford. You might end up scrambling for something else to do while in Florida. You might get a great rate or maybe not.

Thanks sorry new to this didn't realize I didn't book them together
While not "booked together", the two separate cruises can be booked at the same time. But, as noted, if you book the second cruise at the same time that you book the first cruise, the price may be lower than booking that second cruise just before the fact (at a later date). That's because prices rise on cruises as the space fills.

You can, but, if you know you want to take that second cruise, I wouldn't recommend doing it. We just did this in July. We were on the 9-night Norway cruise (which I had booked 16 months prior) and were enjoying it so much, we went to the onboard cruise sales desk and asked about availability for the next cruise. They had two staterooms left and they were not cheap. We ended up booking one and had to pay in full the day we booked. We also had to move staterooms as our original room was already booked by someone else for the next cruise. We also had some difficulty scheduling excursions. We were lucky that they could seat us for the first seating for dinner. We had a GREAT time, but we were lucky that something was even available. Though we got a $200 onboard credit, we definitely did not save any money by booking onboard for the next cruise.

I learned my lesson! We are doing a back-to-back again next summer and I already have them booked. I got to choose our stateroom (won't have to move this time!) and I can pay the cruise off throughout the year.

No problem -- ask questions and learn!

Cruises are priced in "tiers" -- as more categories/staterooms are booked, the fares will increase. For some cruises this increase can be dramatic over time, other cruises not as much from low (early booking) to cruise time. If you are booking onboard, while you get a 10% discount plus OBC, it will be based on the current fares. So if you book onboard just the week prior (to create a B2B), then the cruise may well have increased in fare over time. Now, if you are planning rather last-minute anyway -- say book today for next week, then it might be worth the risk to wait and book a second leg onboard. As long as you keep an eye on the cruise and know it isn't sold out and have an idea of the price to expect, and have a back-up plan in case it suddenly sells out before you get it booked.

Each cruise and each stateroom on a cruise is considered a separate reservation and will have it's own reservation number. You may book B2B at the same time if you wish, or multiple staterooms on the same cruise. But each will have it's own reservation number.

Enjoy your cruises!
