Can you book a pre-cruise ABD without doing the cruise?

I know this seems like a silly question because I'm sure the answer is no....but figured I'd ask anyway. Is it possible to just book a pre or post ABD in Europe if you aren't going on the cruise? We wouldn't mind a little bit shorter of a trip, more of a getaway than a full-blown vacation.

As far as I know, the answer is no, because you have to book it through DCL, not ABD. I don't think DCL can do it without a cruise reservation to link it to. But I suppose it couldn't hurt to call DCL or your Travel Agent and ask...

I take it that you intend to fly to Europe . Either using a travel agent or doing your own booking for flights.

There are many local tour firms doing day tours etc from most Major city's

Please try to stay on topic, Woodview. The question was about booking an ABD pre-cruise without a cruise, not things to do in Europe.
