Can you book a King room and a double queen room as adjoining, if you need more space in a moderate?

Can you book a king room and a double queen room if you need more space, in a moderate? How do you actually book that? Does that then become guaranteed? Thinking POFQ.

WDW doesn't guarantee connecting rooms. If it's really important, you should book a room type that provides what you need (family suite or 1/2 bedroom villa, etc.).

You can have the reservations linked and request connecting, but it's no guarantee. Especially with 2 different room types as there are fewer options.

Technically, "adjoining" means "next to" and what I believe you mean is "connecting" with an interior door between the two rooms.

Regardless, no. Disney does not guarantee connecting rooms but they will make efforts to accommodate your request for them. Guaranteed connecting rooms are pretty rare even among large hoteliers, with Hilton just adding this feature in the last year or two.

Agreed with above posters - book what you will be happy with in the end. What you are asking for can not be guaranteed and given the narrow scope would be low odds of getting.

And to further narrow terms as far as Disney is concerned ...

Adjoined means in proximity. So for a moderate it would likely mean same building. Not next door, not same floor but "close."

Connected means next door with a connecting door.
