Can you book a celebration at DLP?

Well me and OH we discussing weddings (dont get excited nothings set in stone lol) and I said it would be great to get married at DLP - America is to far for us.

So looked into it a bit and discovered you cant actually get married there because of the 30 (or is it 40?) day law nor can you have photos taken in your wedding outfit in front of the castle.

But is it possible to arrange some sort ofcelebration there? High a room in one of the hotels for a blessing, then a character meal?

I expect it will cost an arm and a leg but is this even possible?

Hey and welcome to the board... If you want a Disney wedding, you have to go to Florida, DLP doesn't do that at all, they are quite strict about that! But you could do a honeymoon there. Stay at Disneyland Hotel, book some nice restaurants... That could be very romantic, maybe order some champagne in the room...

As you have discovered having a wedding at DLP is not really an option.
Have to agree that a honeymoon at DLP would be a wonderful idea as well as some lovely choices for romantic meals

I'd second what the_princess suggested and honeymoon at the Disneyland Hotel ~ or even the Sequoia Lodge where there is a Honeymoon Suite.

Thanks for the replies ... though have to admit im not new! I was a member about a year ago but cant remember my old SN so rejoined, but thank you for the welcome anyway

I think I'll just stick to planning a holiday there for the time being then as it seems really out the question, it was just an idea anyway

Honeymoon sounds fab though .. will keep that in mind ... finding someone to look after the kids though, now thats the tricky bit lol

I have seen wedding parties as the Holiday Inn hotel, bus Disney itself doesn't do them. However I've been wondering... If you go via DLRP Business Solutions and rent the park in the evening that should be possible no? It would be very expensive though...
