Can you bake wonton wrappers?

I want to make some kind of crab puffs. I have wonton wrappers - do I have to deep fry them or can I bake them in the oven. I plan on making a mixture of crab & cream cheese, so it should taste good just baked. I'm not sure how wonton wrappers bake up. Has anyone done this?

You can bake them. I was actually thinking about doing this, but haven't tried this yet, just saw it in a recipe book. They sprayed a mini-muffin tin with non-stick spray, then nested the won-ton inside the mini-muffin to make a shell and baked.

That is what we do. I love crab rangoons but I hate to fry. So we spray the muffin pan, nest the wrappers and fill them with the cream cheese mix. Then bake and they come out great! They are a little like a cracker, but a different flavor.
