You can't add it at check in but you can add it no later than five days before check in. The CM told me to add it at least seven days ahead of check in just to be safe. That is what we are going to do.
Exactly - 3 days before and must be paid in full when you call to add it...DEFINATELY not a check in - We saw a poor lady sobbing at the counter last trip when she found out there was no way to add it when she checked in.
If cash flow is an issue, an alternative would be to cut back your package tickets on your reservation to 1 or 2 days per person, and add in the dining plan. You can upgrade your tickets when you arrive for check-in. One day base tickets is all you need to have a MYW package with paid dining. Two day base tickets is all that's required for a free dining package.
