Can you add a day to your ticket?

Just found out that our last day that we did not plan on making a park day will be the first of flower and garden. Can we add a day so that we can go walk around epcot for a few hours and look at everything. Our flight is at 440pm so I am guessing our DME pick up time will be sometime after 12pm

Easily.
Assuming that you already have at least 4 days (and less than 10 days) on your tickets,
the cost to add a day will be just $10.65 per ticket, including tax.

Be sure to wait to add that extra day until sometime after you have actually USED the original tickets to enter a theme park at least one time.
Then, just go to any ticket booth and add the day(s.)

If you have tickets purchased as part of a WDW Resort package, you can modify your reservations and add the day before your trip. (And, make advance FP+ for the extra day(s.)
