before you use it? If you can, is it any cheaper to add it after it's been activated? My parents have 6 day passes, we have year passes. They were not going to go in the parks on our arrival day, but now they aren't sure, so, if they do, should they wait until the last day to add the day or do it right away?
Also, does anyone know how much it will cost to add a day to a parkhopper w/o waterparks?

If the passes were manufactured after 1/1/2005 it is easy to add days before or shortly after use (to a maximum of 10 including days already used).

Some sources say the upgrade cost may be greater (1) if the passes are unused and purchased at less than today's gate price, or (2) if the passes were used more than 13 days ago, but I am not absolutely sure.

"Non-expiring" days cost more than "expiring" days. You can of course only add non-expiring days to non-expiring passes even if the passes have not been used yet.
