Can we walk from POP to World of Sports?

Dd and I are thinking about staying at POP for Marathon weekend.We have to pick up our race packets at WOS on Fr evening and were wondering if we could walk there.If not,does anyone know how we would get there? I've never seen a bus for WOS. TIA

I would love to know this too and I think the answer is no. Dh and I will probably have a rental car and are checking in on Thursday( Thursday at VWL and then Friday to Wed. at POP). If you will be there Thursday afternoon we would be more than happy to bring you with us!! Dh is running the half and I am running the 5K. I believe otherwise you have to take a bus to MGM than to WWOS.

I'm also curious to the answer. My daughter might be going to a dance competition next year, and was trying to figure out where to stay. I know Pop Century is the closest resort to Wide World of Sports. I just don't know how you get there.

It's close enough, but I wouldn't recommend it. No sidewalks and such. It's actually right across the way, but we stayed at the Pop and drove there anyway (friends had a rental car, girls went to the outlets, guys went to WWOS). I'd stay safe and take a bus or car.

Amanda,we are arriving very late Th. night,but thank you so much for the offer,you are so kind! We almost always have a rental,but this last trip we didn't have the rental the last 5 days of the trip and we MISSED it!We have been to WDw around 10 times and I think that if you are going from your resort to the parks or park to park you don't need the car.The hassle is going from resort to resort(which we do often to visit our favorite restaurants) This last June we spent over 4 hrs just to get from our resort (PORS) to AKL for dinner and back! We actually spent less time than that at the water parks. Since we're only there for a long weekend I don't want to waste a half day. Maybe we could take a cab?
