Can we walk from Epcot to Spoodles?

I have never been to the boardwalk area but know that Spoodles is near there. Is it possible to walk to Spoodles from Epcot. We will be spending the day at Epcot and want to have dinner there. Any suggestions? PS We are staying at AKL and can either drive and take our car or take the bus when we go to Epcot. Thanks, Linda

Yes, it's a very easy walk through the International Gateway exit from Epcot (near France). We frequently wander around the BC/BWI area during visits to Epcot.

Easy walk, 5 - 7 minutes, out the back entrance and go left over the bridge.

The transpo back to AKL could be tricky, depending on when you finish eating. If you don't take the car, you will have to take WDW transpo or a taxi. If you take the car, and leave it in the EPCOT lot, you'll still have to walk all the way back through EPCOT to retrieve it. If you finish dinner later than park closing at EPCOT, that's a problem.

Easiest way back to AKL would be a taxi from the BW. Next easiest may be to move the car from the EPCOT lot to BW parking, before you eat, so it's right there when you're done. We split our party sometimes, and have done this, and one person moves the car while everyone else walks over, and we meet at the restaurant. Then, the car is nearby when we're finished eating.

Lastly, without a car, you could use WDW transpo, from either the MGM or EPCOT bus stops (which you have to get to). Or, catch a bus from BW to DTD or another open park, then transfer to AKL bus.

You could always park the car at one of the hotels near the Boardwalk area and enter the park through the International Gateway, then go to Spoodles later that night, and then to your car.

If no car, you could walk to Spoodles, then catch a bus out by Boardwalk to DTD, then catch a bus to AK from there.

Parking is free at parks and such when you are staying at a Disney Resort.

Sorry, I'm confused. Why can't we walk back and catch a bus to AKL from Epcot? Or can we walk or get to MGM easily and get a bus from there to AKL? Thanks for info, Linda

You can walk back into Epcot and get a bus, but the buses pick up at the front of the park, so you will have to walk a good bit. You could also walk to MGM (or take a boat) and catch a ride back to AKL. That actually would be the shorter route, instead of Epcot.

You can walk back to the bus area at EPCOT, if EPCOT is still open. That's the problem with leaving the car in the EPCOT parking lot. If your dinner runs late, and it's after park hours, they won't let you back into EPCOT to walk through to the front. Bus-wise, you can certainly catch the bus at MGM as well.

Some of your options are guided by when your dinner will be. If it's a late meal, then getting back through EPCOT may not be a posibility. That would stink if you drove over, and couldn't walk back to get your car. Just be aware of the park hours, if you decide to drive.

I agree that going to MGM is probably quicker than going to the front of EPCOT. And, you have the option of riding the boat over there as well.
