Can we visit Aulani now?

Thanks to my Dad, we'll be spending New Year's and the following week in Hawaii (my second favorite vacation spot). On our way back home we have a long layover in Honolulu and will rent a car. Usually we go to Pearl Harbor or a museum, but we'd love to visit Aulani. Do any of you know whether it's open for visits now?

The resort does not open until August 2011.

They do have a preview center open and will show you the beach and a model of a two bedroom.

I was there in Sep and got a nice tour

I was there in September also. The preview center is on the 2nd floor of a small shopping center across the street. They take you over to the models in a golf cart. The models are in a temporary building.
At some point (they said early 2011) they will open models in the actual building.

I've not seen any posts that said the opening of Aulani is delayed from it's planned date of 8/29/2011.
