Hi this will be our first time staying off site and will be driving to the parks. We have a breakfast reservation at the Contemporary on our MK day. Would it be ok to valet park then walk to the MK? Or would we have to leave and park at the TTC? I am not trying to get out of paying for parking, and we would pay for the valet service at the resort.

I think the roughly 3 hour limit also applies to valet parking. The lots are not intended for long-term parking unless you are staying at the resort. If they allowed this, people staying at the resorts would run out of spots because of park-goers.

Completely understandable, and thank you for the reply. This is our first time ever not using Disney transportation so it will take some getting used to! We have a breakfast adr and were hoping to simplify the process of parking.

I believe the 3 hour limit does not apply to valet parking so you should be fine.

In the past, if you paid for valet, it was good for the day.

This is wonderful because it would be so much more convenient. I really don't want to take up space for resort guests, but figured since we're paying for the valet service maybe it wouldn't be an issue.

Please don’t. Yes, it’s closer and more convenient, but if everyone did that, there would be none available for CR guests. I seem to recall that they used to check to see if you were a guest or had reservations there to park at all. Has that changed?

No, it hasn’t changed, but the OP states they have a breakfast reservation and are inquiring about valet parking. In this case, they have a legitimate reason to be at the resort. I find that most people staying at Deluxe resorts with a car self park instead of valet. Valet spaces are set aside from regular parking so not taken from the regular parking inventory. I have not seen many valet areas more than half full when visiting.

I know that if I had kept my breakfast reservation this past summer at CR, I would have seen about leaving my car for the day with valet while at MK. Granted, I knew we would only be in the park for 3-5 hours.
