Can we use the code too?

We are planning a trip for the end of April but am super flexible on dates... I've set up emails, signed up for Disney Visa, ordered the video...everything I can think of.

Well Yesterday here comes the flyer with 40% off & I was super excited & about to call in...then realized its addressed to my mom, who lives with us. Strange thing is, she doesnt have the visa, has never been to disney & swears she has never signed up for anything regarding visa.

How did she get it... & can we use it?

I do not think so! Unless, she is coming with you! I think her name has to be on the main ressie! Otherwise, you can't use it! That stinks!

I think you should call anyway. When you give your address, they will see your mom has the same address. It can't hurt to try, and then try again. Let us know what happens. Good luck!

I agree w/ the above post and say try calling... Last night I asked the Disney Rep if my sister or mom could use our code as well and they said no... I also stated that my sister recieved an email but doesnt know if she can make it for our trip, she said then have your mom use her code.

I really wish that all cm's were like the one I was speaking w/ last night. It would be so great if they had certain extensions to reach them..

The CM I Spoke with said up to three rooms could be booked with each code, but that the person with the code needed to call and book them, pay for them etc. So can't you have her call and book it for you, then write her a check, etc?

you can book up to 3rooms I was told as well. But I was nto aware (nor has that ever happened) that the person who had the code needed to pay for it, just be there for the reservation was my understand and past--- with this type of code, with the disnvey visa code it jsut needed to be a person with the disney visa that paid for it.

I read that alot of times if it comes to your adress, no matter what name is on it, you can use it. This is not written in stone, but generally allowed. Canadian guy has a thread on codes that has alot of good infor in it. I think it also talks about this.

Last year I received the 40% off code under my friend's name. However, the code came to my address and we were able to use it for that reason. Codes are by HOUSEHOLD. The only issues I've read about are when a family member that lives in another house tries to give the code to their sister, mother etc... who live at a DIFFERENT address.
