DS is 5 but he does get tired and wants his stroller, i have a MClaren than when it fold you can sling over your shoulder.
can we check that in the plane and does it count as a bag?

Thanks

oh we will be using Jet blue

We usually gate check our stroller. It does not count as a bag. You can then use it in the airport. You will have to put it through x-ray and then when you get to the gate, go up to the counter and tell them you have a stroller to gate check. They will give you a tag. You then take your stroller down the tarmak when you board the plane and fold it up right out side of the plane doors. They will then put your stroller under the plane. It will be waiting for you right when you step off the plane. It may take a minute or two but it usually beats us off the plane.

I agree also with above posted. Gate check the stroller. It helps keep little ones in while in busy airports and keeps moving easily.

What kind of Maclaren did you get? I am getting ready to buy one.

Southwest will check your stroller as you board.
