Can we take 9 mo baby in pool???

We are staying at the Poly and I wanted to know if my Sister can play with her baby in the shallow end of the pool? you know splash and play??

reason I am asking....swim diapers....so is it a faux pas????

I plan to take my 2 year old to the pool in a swim diaper. I don't see how a 9 month old would be any different.

As long as they have on a swim diaper and you take them out as soon as they do or if you notice them having a BM.

I would and did take my baby swimming. Just make sure they have some sort of swim diaper. The disposable ones are okay, but if you can get one of the washable plastic lined ones they are much more sanitary. Have fun!

I've seen lots of babies in swim diapers in the Disney pools. Have a great time!

I've had DD in pools since she was about 7-8 weeks old. Never had a problem,

As long as the child is in a swim diaper, you should be fine. Regular disposables won't cut it. They are not designed for pools. All the pools in our area now mandate reusable swim diapers as they are much more effective than the disposable swim diapers. Cuter too! They seem to be cheaper in the long run as you can just rinse them out and reuse. This is what they look like
