We are traveling with family members on 2 reservations with the dining plan. If my husband and I want to eat at a restaurant alone, would our 9 year old daughter be able to eat at a different restaurant with our relatives, or do we need to be together in order to get the dining plan (for table service meals)?

It should be fine as long as she knows that she is on the DDP, and has her KTTW card. We recently took a trip where there were 5 of us, and two of us ventured off on our own and got ourselves something to eat while we were separated.

Absolutely you can split up. Just like the PP said she will need to have her KTTW card wth her and whoever is settling up the bill needs to be clear with the server that she is in a different room w/ the meal plan & her card only be "charged" for her meal. :)

Since tips are not included on the DDP you should also be clear w/ your relatives about who is covering the tip on her meal, you or them and give them money if necessary. Have a great trip.
