Hi I know they group all the credits together and they can be accessed on any person in your party's kttw card. My question is can each persons meals and snacks get assigned to their own card and that's it?

No, they cannot be separated. As you said, the credits will be grouped together and on all the KTTW cards for the room.

we take the masking tape and mark on them what each has --we do this for my DBL so he can keep track of his meals if he seperated from us.........................as Disney will not give them seperate on each card they give you on your key

Thanks so much it's me dh and mil traveling and I know she wants to do her own thing sometimes that's why I asked

she3 can still do her own thing -- but she will still dip into the pooled credits.

I made cards out for our trip in August and gave the card to the 2 teenagers to keep track, well, needless to say, 1 of them thought she knew what she was doing and we ended up with 4 CS!!! I was NOT happy at all.. I might add, that was the ending of a trying week...

This cannot be done on a single room reservation. All dining credits are pooled by reservation. If your MIL is on the same room reservation as you, her card will have access to all the credits. Just make sure she knows how many credits are hers to use.

To clarify: Anyone on the reservation can use credits. You do not all have to be together.

So if your MIL wanted to spend the day at Epcot while you guys went to MK, you could each use your KTTW cards to get meals using dining credits. As the PP said, just make sure you all know how the credits work.

My SIL took her family of 8 (6 kids, 2 adults) a few years ago and the older boys ate at ESPN every day for lunch. Well, they thought this only used a CS credit because it was lunch, not dinner. At the end of the trip, they had dozens of unused CS credits and quite a few TS meals charged to their credit card. This was a costly mistake, as they had paid for the dining plan up front. They would have been much better off to not get the dining plan, but nobody bothered to learn how it worked.
