Can we see Wishes from Poly and GF?

We have ADRs for 'Ohana and 1900 Park Fare...will we be able to watch Wishes from the beach after dinner? I was hoping we would be able to!

Yup.

Best viewing is from the Poly beach IMO, it's almost straight across from the Castle. I believe that's what the wife and I will do on Thurs night after our Ohana dinner res next week...

Thank you! Our last trip to Disney we only visited AKL when we ate at Boma. I am looking forward to checking out GF and the Poly. AND watching fireworks with the family without having to rush back to the park.

We thought the Poly would have a better vantage point but we wondered if it ever got too crowded with onlookers and people would be asked to leave. we would love o get an after dinner drink at the pool bar and enjoy the fireworks from the beach. Do they pipe in the music? What if it's a MVMCP night? would that make a difference as far as crowds and being allowed to watch?

Yes I agree. DH and I did this last week, very romantic - we were lucky enough to secure a hammock too!

I have watched Wishes from the Poly beach twice, and they did not play the music. Maybe they are playing it and it is too quiet to hear, but it is unlikely you'll hear music on the beach.

We heard it when we were there just over a week ago. It's fairly quiet, so if there are lots of people around you it might be hard to hear.

We were there in late September/early October. We watched Wishes/Hallowishes 3 nights from the Poly. It was never too crowded (even on MNSSHP nights) that they turned people away from the beach and fireworks viewing. We usually got our spot around 15 minutes until "show time." (but never snagged a hammock....gotta be there earlier to get a beach chair or hammock) There would have been plenty of room for more spectators.

There are some locations (near the pool) where you can hear the music....but the best vantage points on the beach and inspiration point (hill) are not near any speakers and piped in music.

We didn't hear any music, but we still thoroughly enjoyed the fireworks.

I don't have any experience with GF and fireworks viewing.

I read this and was trying to remember when this bar closes, since I thought I remembered it closing around the time the sun went down. Anyway would can always go up to the Tambu Lounge (fighting the Ohana crowd) and get drinks to go as a backup plan.

I heard the beaches at the Grand Floridian face more towards the Polynesian, so the view would not be that good. However another option at the Grand Floridian is to watch them at the marina by Gasparilla's Grill & Games.

It's never so crowded that you would be asked to leave -- including NYE or July 4th so a MVMCP night will be a breeze.
