Can we see the MK fireworks from the Polynesian Lounge?

Hi!

We will be at the POLY on July 4th... I have two questions...

1. Can we see the MK fireworks from the Tahiti Bldg Lounge (the acting concierge lounge in July)?

2. I know we can see them from the beach, but last year the beach was trashed (I hear)... Do they let everyone/anyone onto the beach? Is it limited to resort guests?

3. Ok, I have three questions... Is there a better choice to see the fireworks without fighting crowds too much!

No you can not see the beach or lagoon from where they are going to have the conceirge lounge in Tahiti. The beach down near Tahiti should not be as crowded as it was near Hawaii. Yes the beach is supposed to be for Polynesian Resort guests only and they are supposed to check resort ID as they have in past years but last year there were more idiots than normal in WDW (yes I am still a little mad at how stupid people can be). I would still go because it is still a better view and better than fighting the crowds in the park. By the way. Anyone who goes to the Polynesian this 4th and is not staying there (at least have a reservation to eat), just remember karma will come and get you and so will the Tiki gods.

Thanks, Steve. I was afraid of the lounge not having a view. The beach will have to do.

We will be staying there from July 3rd to July 7th.

You will want to be outside for the show anyway. Many visitors to the Polynesian don’t even realize there is a beach on the other side of Sunset point so I am sure the beach over near Tahiti will not be as bad. I don’t think I would have had a problem if it had been my first 4th of July there but I know how it was not as bad the other years so it bugged me. Actually I was ok with it till someone walked over to out patio and stood in front of my chair on my patio. You have to wonder how people like that have enough brain power to remember how to breathe.

Go and enjoy the best view in WDW.
