We are all ready to go right now, but I'm concerned about all the new reservation rules.

With your kids getting older, I understand your desire to get one more trip while they're still "kids". Specific thoughts on a last-minute Disney trip:

- I personally wouldn't go to Disney now. More risk than I personally would accept.
- Yes, if your expectations are realistic (for example, you may not get the highly-coveted dinner reservations), you can do it.
- Low attendance may make this last-minute thing more possible than in the past.
- Did you mention transportation? New Jersey is a long drive, but I'd feel safer driving than flying.

Really puzzled, hope you are aware of the mandatory quarantines both going to and returning from Florida for New Jersey?

I’m all for following the rules, but is there seriously a quarantine going from NY to FL?!? I really don’t want politics being pulled into this, so scientifically speaking, FL instituted mandatory quarantines from one of the only regions in the country that have this thing under control (at the moment)? Ridiculous, but please follow the rules.

On the other hand, I’m all for a QT going from FL to NY. Will your kids be so quick to follow those rules and take off from work for those additional 2 weeks?

And as an aside, why wouldn’t you just rent from a DVC member who has those points to spare (not me lol). These brokers make a living by acting as a middle man and jacking up the price. Is it really that much safer? I’m new to this renting game, so I’m being sincere when I ask that. I mean, I literally have 30ish points that will expire, and I’d rather let them expire than support one of these brokers. Am I missing something here?
