What do most people do? Do you rely on the app ONLY? Do you take a screen shot??? I always print off reservations, airline info that type stuff...but what do we need to be armed with when we arrive??:confused3

I am going to have small laminated sheets to take with me if for some reason the app or my phone is not working. That way I have a backup :)

They won't take those as proof you had a FP/res for that time but it can help you keep on track.

I just print each day and carry the small slip of paper with me just to keep me on track. That way I can check what order and when each one is throughout the day. Using the app drains my battery even more, so I try to avoid, if I can.

Yeah I think the phone thing is going to be an issue. I have a portable phone charger called a HALO that I am bringing too.

We just returned and I had issues with getting the app to show my plans at all so rather than trust it to keep me on track I decide to print my plans. It is very easy from the MDE website. If you go to your plans there is an icon to print that will categorize each reservation (hotel, dining, fast passes) and print them by day. I simply printed that and threw it in my bag to reference each day.

We did a screenshot of our FP+ and had it in my photos on the phone. We also made a calendar we had in the room so we looked at them before we left for the day. Back before the iPhones I used to make a small credit card sized calendar type thing that I would laminate and take to the parks with us with ADRs and such on it, thought about doing that for our next trip but having our FP+ times on it.

We change/move/alter our FP+ too many times on any given day to keep anything hard copy. We have done 2 FP+ trips with iPhones and haven't had an issue (that does not mean the app is not glitchy as hell, but we can always convince it to do what we want it to eventually) and our batteries have survived 12+ hours in the parks each day. The key is to only use the MDE app and some Facebook. The phone is not for games or photos or it night not survive the day.

Yes. Print them.

I like to print the itinerary, put them in plastic sheet protectors then into a binder. I usually take them to the park day by day. I forgot it yesterday the app was down and I couldn't remember anyrhing after 7dmt at 9:05

No smartphone so last October I copied all my FP+ and ADRs into an Excel spreadsheet, PDFd and then printed a bunch of copies double sided. folded one up and put it in my park bag every morning. got the whole 6 days on one double sided page

I print them off the website, and also have an Excel sheet for the room. They will also print them for you at your resort. The easiest thing I have done is put them in my phone calendar.

Each morning I took a screen shot of the day's fp+ and used it as my lock screen wallpaper. then I just had to hit the home button and it would pull up the times (and the time :hyper:)

That is smart! I gotta try that next month

I just put them on my phone's calendar....not like I have a lot of other things going on while I'm at Disney. makes it really easy to change them or add another when we get that coveted 4th, lol.

I also do the screen shot as the lock screen. It's perfect. And when I inevitably switch things around it's easy to do another screen shot.

I was very glad to have that on Saturday when the system had the global outage. I couldn't switch FPs but at least I knew what/when they were.
