Can we make our reservation on time

Our April flight down to WDW has been changed and we will no be landing until 2:55. Do we have enough time to check into Pop Century and still make a 6:30 dinner reservation at Yachtsman Steakhouse? I am not sure of our transportation yet, either Mears or a car service.

Probably, but seems like a stressful way to start a vacation unless you’re totally fine with the possibility of not making it and being charged the no show fee.
Personally I wouldn’t do an ADR that night. Too many things can go wrong with transportation.

I think you can. That's 3.5 hours to get to hotel, check in and head to Yachtsman on the skyliner to the boat. Shouldn't be an issue.

If I really wanted this ADR I would try to schedule it later if possible To give myself some breathing room.

We already have reservations then the Airline bumped our flight 6 hours later. So far there is nothing later in the evening.

I agree that timing will be tight, especially if your flight is delayed. I would book a car service because it would allow you to leave the airport at the earliest possible moment - you wouldn't have to wait for anyone other than your party, and you'd go directly to your resort. Also, I'd probably keep trying for a later ADR time.

If you do online check in then you won’t need to waste time checking in at the hotel. Just drop your bags with Bell Services & head straight back out.

I think people often assume that Disney is a lot more unreasonable with their cancellation policy than they are. If you keep the reservation, then realize while you're standing at baggage claim that you're not going to make it, just call and cancel. You're not going to be charged.

Have you tried calling Disney lately? It's not so easy to just "call and cancel" with their 2 hour waits. LOL
But I agree, in theory they are pretty flexible.

Is 407-WDW-DINE as bad as the main reservations line?

Is it possible to modify the reservation to a later date if you see that you will have an issue? In that case you could just change the reservation to any date in the future ( not expecting to use it) and then just cancel it a day or more ahead and avoiding a cancellation fee. Does that work?

You *might* not need to go to the front desk. You still might. Online check-in does not guarantee you don't have to go to the desk.

BUT you could always drop the bags and come back after eating if you have to go to the desk.

We always have reservations on our arrival day, we typically need 2.5 hours to make it from the airport to the hotel and then over to DS. (We eat at Boathouse on arrival every time. Ha) Getting to YC is just an easy Uber ride away.

I'd say yes if using direct transportation to both the resort and dinner, but it would be really tight if relying on Disney transportation.
