Like the old saying goes - Sometimes too many cooks spoil the Voodoo Sticky Pig Wings.

While I truly appreciate the notion that the larger community can provide a greater value ("it takes a village" to quote more wisdom), I think these are meant to be quick and entertaining in addition to their educational nature. I like that they're short and manageable videos/pods that I can listen to in one sitting. To tackle all the money-saving ideas around Disney would take hours if not days to record. I couldn't listen to that. I couldn't focus on or retain all that content and information.

I don't really follow your logic, why would asking us something change it from a top 5 video? It's still going to be whatever pete wants it to be. he's not going to sit there and read a long forum thread verbatim and probably not mention 99% of it. all we offer is a larger demographic of people who are more than a few guys that live local and visit often for a couple hours at a time. perspectives change depending on your situation and needs.

I think that starting a thread works.

I just kind of separate the boards from the Unplugged content I guess. I know they mention threads (especially the thread of the day) but at the same time I kind of like that their video and podcast content is largely their opinions. I just don't want the podcast and vlog to become a regurgitation of the board content if that makes sense.

I was thinking about polls today, and didn't they use them when they'd rate hotels and dining before on the podcast? I don't think we ever need to revisit which value resorts are better, but perhaps at the end of a 'what we hate' video Pete tosses in a 30 second review of the top 5 people on here or facebook posted.
