Can we get into Epcot thru Intern'l Gateway before park opens for Segway Tour?

Signed up for Segway tour at Epcot. They now have changed the start time to 8:15. We decided to stay at Yacht Club for the 1st time. Now I'm wondering if we will can get in early through the International Gateway to get to Guest Relations for the tour. Will CM's be posted at that entrance that early to let us in? DH is the one doing the tour. Will they let me into the park with him?I assume that since the I.Gateway is right there that there are no buses to Epcot. Can you walk to the front entrance of Epcot from Y.C.? Are we better off taking bus to TT and then taking monorail to Epcot so that we can get in through main entrance? Anyone stayed at YC/BC before whose done Segway Tour?

My wife and I did the SEGWAY last May and we walked from BCV through the Gateway. There was someone there with a clipboard who asked "Princess Breakfast?"

We said "no, SEGWAY". They didn't have a list for that, but they let us through anyway. I'd guess by now, they have a list for SEGWAY too.
