We are a group of 6 heading out in 14 days. We are really two families of 3 each. I know there is an 18% gratuity included automatically when you have 6 or more. I'm not trying to get out of the tip, but we are really two groups of three. Will it be a problem to ask that they provide 2 different checks? They can still include the gratuity is fine, we just want two checks.

We went with 14 people, 3 families, and were always given 3 separate checks when we asked. We were on the DDP.

I can't imagine it will be difficult to split the check between parties I think most restaurants can do that nowadays.

Thanks! I had a similar question. Six people on the ressie, but one party of four and one of two, all on the DDP.

All of the Disney Table Service (including buffet) Restaurants will split checks upon request. It will make it a lot easier on the servers if you let them know who is on which check at the start of the meal. This is especially inportant if DDP is involved for any or all.

If the total party size is six or more there will be an automatic 18% gratuity added to each check, based on the amount of that particular check. This holds true even if no one check is for as many as six people.
