When I stay at a Disney hotel, I occasionally fax the room assigner to make specific location requests the week before we go. Would the same work for DVC? Any suggestions for a BCV studio that allow for some type of view of the Epcot or DHS fireworks? Thanks!

No faxes allowed for DVC. You can email MS with a request. BCV dose not have any views to speak of.

I'm surprised that you are still faxing. Most room assigners that I have talked to tell me that request faxes are just tossed away. They feel that online check in and your reservation notes provide them with all of the info needed for them to do their job. Bothering with faxes is just extra work.

Do the fax phone numbers even ring at the resort, the phones don't, they are answered at a call center.

Thanks! My faxed requests have always been honored in the recent years at the resorts.

The idea of a phone call must be antique. Call Member Services and make your request. They will honor it if they can. No guarantee. If you are thinking of a studio at BCV, I will tell you the absolute worst room I ever had was at BCV overlooking Epcot Resorts Blvd. Loud! Delivery trucks, garbage trucks, etc. If memory serves me, do not accept a studio with odd numbers. This might help.

But if you are not a member, you can't call MS with your request. The member you rented from will need to do that. You can do online checkin and make a selection from the choices they offer there.

In your reservation at BCV, here are some ways you can specify a location request:

woods view or pool view
close to pool, or close to lobby, or close to parking
first floor or an upper floor
close to elevator
