Can we do morning AK early November without FP?

On of our days first week of November I'm thinking of having a half day at AK and then head to Epcot and wondering if we should save our FPs for there? According to Touring Plans, AK will be a "2".

If we are at AK rope drop, could we do this plan without FP:

Pangani Forest Trail
Jungle Trek
Expedition Everest
Tricera Top Spin
Dinosaur

I almost never use a FP at AK. We always arrive at rope drop and ride my youngest favorite rides- dinosaur and Everest.

Yes. This is totally doable. We roped dropped AK in August and did Safari, Everest, and all of Dinoland with little to no waits.

Oh goodness no don't get FP for AK if you're going there when it opens. I never have needed them. I wouldn't do the trails until after the rides as the trails never have a line.

Here's kind of a fun thing I've done: If you go to Dinosaur first thing and kind of hang back after the pre-show, and smile and ask really nicely. you might have your own ride vehicle. Makes for a nice picture.

Absolutely, just returned from heavy August crowds and we could have done AK without a fastpass on the 2 days we went at rope-drop on EMH days.

The only thing you definitely need a fastpass for in AK is Kali, and you're not doing it.

I would suggest starting with EE (can probably do it twice if you're towards the front of the pack), and if you don't mind criss-crossing and backtracking I would then do Safari, Dinosaur, Triceratop and then the trails last.

If you're trying to keep walking down a little - EE, Dinosaur, Tri, Safari and then the trails. The rides are the priority and wait times build somewhat quickly. Safari wait times will be up to about 30 within an hour of park opening - EE probably longer. I find the waiting area for Safari to be stifling and airless, so I try to keep that wait low!!

I think your plans are doable, too. A hint: if you aren't as certain about riding EE that day (especially with young children), consider Safari first thing (and if you really love it) then when you get off, get right back in line for a 2nd ride. You may see different animals and depending on where you sit in the vehicle, it will be a somewhat different experience. Then off to the trail and the trek and so on . . .
