Can we do Downtown Disney Check in with Virgin?

Hi
We are flying in June from Manchester. The holiday is with Thomas Cook Signature flying with Virgin. On the sad day we have to come home can we take our luggage from our hotel on Int Drive and check in with Virgin at DTD? We have booked the free transfers to/from airport so in theory if we could get rid of our cases early we could go for a shop about and still be back to the hotel in time to catch the transfer bus!

I think you can use DTD Check-in but you will have to pay for it as you're not booked with Virgin Holidays.

I'm not sure of the cost but I dont think it is too much - something like $5 each

Have you got your own transport? I only ask because you say you have got the free shuttle from your hotel to MCO and back which makes me think you might not. If not, I am not sure how much advantage it is to go to DTD from your hotel off your own bat (say via taxi) and then have to get back to your hotel (again via taxi) to get the free shuttle back to MCO.

Instead, you could get your hotel to hang onto your cases, go shopping and come back for the free transfer without having to go to DTD and back (unless you wanted to shop there in the first place of course )

If you have your own car then no problem
