Can we do a VR at Disney without getting a wedding package?

So my husband and myself will be going to Disney in April with our 4 children. I would love to renew our vows since this year is our 10th anniversary. However, I don't want to have to purchase a wedding package.

We would really just love to have a small ceremony with just us and the kids and then have a nice dinner. Any thoughts if they offer a justice of the peace for these instances?

Disney really only offers the official packages. They frown on events that don't go through Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding department (although every now and then a poster will tell us how they did it).

Most of the officiants in the area most likely won't come to you on Disney property because it could harm their future ability to work with Disney for other cermonies.

There are other options though...you could consider something off property but in the area that would be more cost effective. Most of the resorts in Downtown Disney offer packages, as do the Swan/Dolphin. In the general area Leu Gardens and I believe Cypress Gardens offer other events.

And I would encourage you to contact some of the officiants in the Orlando area to see what other options they may have. Most of them are affiliated with many other locations in the area and will be able to help you find something in your budget!

Anything done on Disney Property must go throught DFTW. But like the previous poster said there are many other hotels you can go to outside of the Disney property that have very inexpensive packages.
