I see it says “all ashore” at 8:30. Is that just when they start letting people off or when we have to be off?
If we wanted to have a lazy morning and get off at 9 or 10am is that fine?

All ashore is when you can get off but you don't need to...you can sleep in and take your time. Of course, depending on when you go you might not want to lollygag if getting a hammock or a certain spot on the beach is important to you. Some people don't get off the ship at all. So do what works for you and enjoy!

Whenever you want. We typically avoid the mad rush to get off the ship as soon as possible, and instead sleep in, swim & have lunch onboard, then hit the island for the afternoon. That works best in winter, though, when afternoon rains are uncommon.

Strangely, we’ve always been first off the ship (except the 5k runners) and never encountered a crowd or lines. We have to wait a good hour once we are our spot on the beach before we see significant amount of people arriving. Maybe it depends on the composition of the crowd...

We usually stay on the ship until near lunchtime, head over to Serenity Bay for a drink before lunch, then lunch, then back to the ship. You can walk on/off all day (though you have to go through Bahamian security to get back on - although that takes all of 1 minute unless you're doing it at end of day when they're clearing everyone out).

We usually get off about 10:00. No crowds at all then. We typically stay on the island for lunch and return to the ship between 1 and 2 so we can shower and nap.

Is there a long line in the morning of people waiting to get off the ship? If I head down between 8-8:30, what can I expect?

You might run into a bit of a wait, but honestly by the end of the cruise, many families are just worn out and aren't down there at 8am. They'll be at breakfast still.
