Can we discuss shoes?

I love my Go Walks to wear around the house and to run errands. That said, they did NOT do right by my feet when I wore them at Disneyland and walked about 6 miles. The lack of actual structural support did me in and my feet were sore for days.

I find this exact same thing. My foot needs more support than my Sketchers give for all day walking/standing.

While I don't know your style, check out the Jsport by jambu. I have 3 pairs of the Misty and I have worn them on many trips to DL and middle of July in WDW. Selling points - arch support, memory foam, easy to clean, the are semi-mesh so quick dry - they are the best for water rides, cute with shorts, capris, skirts or jeans, mesh so they breathe (not as good as sandals, but are cooler than trainers), closed toe so you have protection if people step on your feet. Best bet is to try a bunch and buy the most comfortable ones. You also need to bring at least 2 different pairs so you can alternate as your feet will hurt regardless of how comfortable if you don't switch it up. http://jambu.com/women/brands/jsport

Agree with Lm3js. I also like the Jambu line of shoes but prefer the Jbu sandals. They are by far the most comfortable shoes I have worn in my 10+ trips to Disney parks. My feet get so hot so the sandals work best for me. I also agree with packing a second pair of shoes to alternate wearing every other day.

I wear the same pair of Merrill's (with insert) almost every day to work for that reason. For me its feet & knees. Most of the Skechers are too sporty to look good with dress clothes I wear to work.

Mostly Dr Scholl's. Some shoes I use the full Active Series insert. For the Skechers, usually the insert with cushion under the heel & some arch support. It looks like this although maybe mine are older because they are not purple

I haven't read all the previous posts, but I do have plantar faschitis problems. The only shoes I have never had a problem with are my Skechers GoWalk 3s, or if you're willing to pay $100+, Kuru shoes are great. Everyone has a different preference. I hope you find what works for you.

Whatever you do just don't wear converse chick taylors, lol! That's asking for some serious foot pain.
