Can we choose from the dinner buffet options for a lunchtime reception?

OK, we have our contract and we (hopefully) will meet with our coordinator this coming Friday. We are working on our dining and beverage options and we like two of the dinner buffet plans much better than the lunch selections. Does anyone know if we can choose a dinner buffet plan even though our reception starts at 1:00?

It shouldn't be a problem at all. It will just cost you a bit more money.

we had a dinner buffet for our reception and our reception started at noon. we had our reception at the Atlantic Dance Hall so their menus are buffets. having a reception at the ADH will only cost you $1500, and that is only for food and beverages!!! as long as you meet the $1500 for food and beverages, you're set. you should have no problem with that. where are you planning on having your reception at?

ADH is our first choice, but right now it is being held for another party. Our second choice is going to be one of the ballrooms at the GF.
