Can we change our user name?

Is it possible to change your user name on this forum or are we either stuck with what we have or forced to create a new account to get a new name?

Just curious as I've had this name for just about 10 years now and have grown tired of it.

Last I was aware of, no.

The only thing you can do, if you don't like your user name, is create a new account with your new user name. That said, you can't have 2 accounts with the same email, so you'd have to first change the email address on the old account.
