We are renting a car for the day prior to the cruise, but fly out right after and don't want to rent a car for a drive to the airport. Can we purchase 1 way Disney transportation to the airport while on ship? Or do we need to do that in advance?

We just did the same last week on our cruise on the Wonder. We bought 2 one way transfers ($25 each) to go from the port to MCO.

Just go to Guest Services any day on the ship and puchase them.

Are transfers for children the same as adults?

Does anyone know if the Disney transfers run on a schedule or does it basically leave when the bus is full? I wanted to take this back to the resort area. Is this even possible or do they only go to the airport?

Thanks!

DCL has buses a set of buses that go directly to the airport and a set of buses that go directly to WDW. They do wait until they are full. They know many people are getting off the ship and heading to the parks.

I believe the cost of the transfers are the same for all ages. A one way from the ship to either WDW or the airport is $25.00 and can be bought before hand or at any time during your cruise at Guest Services.

Our plans changed at the last minute and hubby and son were heading straight to the airport (hubby had to get back to work early) so we purchased transfers for them at Guest Services desk at 7:00 am on morning of debarkation.
