Can We Bring In Jarred Baby Food?

Since they're glass - can we bring these into the parks? There's ways around it - but just wondering. Thanks!

Sure can. Just put them in your baby bag, and when they inspect it, it should be fine. They don't want glass bottles to prevent breakage, but baby food jars are usually ok.

I can't imagine that would be a problem at all. If you wanted to, I know Gerber now makes some of their foods in little plastic 4 packs. They are great little square containers with lids you can snap back on if they don't finish it all. I used to buy them for the daycare kids, because they stacked so well in the cabinets.

We were just there in August with our 5 month old and I packed glass containers of baby food in my diaper bag and had no problems going through security or entering the parks. You won't have a problem at all.

I bring in baby food and baby snacks (like the biter biscuits, etc) and have never had a problem. This is going to be the first trip in a while since I don't have to bring in baby food. Now if the little one could just get out of diapers! That will be a great day - no changes in the rest room. Things to look forward to.

We just got back with our 15mo DS. Always packed foos for him and never had any problems. The Gerber plastic packs are really great though. We discovered them at the grocery store while there and bought some. They're alot lighter than the glass jars and the plastic containers have lids so you can save what they don't eat. The containers were also great to pack cherrios in after I had washed them out. The only drawback of them is that they don't have any meal-type things or veggies - just fruit. There are lots of varities though.
