CAN & US - Kids Bowl Free

I found out about this through "couponing to disney". I get an e-mail from them daily about special finds they find!

You look on their list of participating bowling centres and click on the one you want to bowl at. Then fill out the form for kids (15 and younger I believe it is) and it says each child gets 2 free games of bowling EACH DAY during the duration of the program.

They also have an option to purchase a Family Pass for $24.95 that lets 4 adults bowl free as well during the duration of the program!

When I saw my local bowling centre on there, I phoned to verify they were really participating in this and they said YES! And they are accepting the Family Pass! I'm so excited!

The only thing I did not verify with them was the bowling *each* day. I originally thought it said *once a week* but the website does say each day. Ah well - even once a week is a bargin!

I have the kids signed up. Now I'm waiting for someone from "Kids Bowl Free" to contact me on how to purchase the Family Pass. Their e-form refuses to accept my postal code although it accepted my province just fine...

Just to let everyone know I e-mailed "Kids Bowl Free" and they fixed the e-form for Canadians.

I was able to order the Family Pass for $24.95!

Now my daughter, my son and my nephew can bowl free all summer. And it only cost $25 for myself, my husband, my dad and my brother for all summer! How great is that?!

We signed my 3 kids up for this. Then we bought the family pass. I think each bowling center has different ages.........as ours was 18 and under for the kids part.

DH, ME, and DS4 went bowling this week. You do have to pay shoe rental. Still paid $8.25 for 2 games of bowling for three people.

We did this, this year. Shoe rental is not included but we've already gotten our money out of it and it just started. You get your coupons emailed to you each week its great.

I'm so bummed. the nearest alley to me that participates is at least a 45 minute drive - that's without traffic.

Oh, well, I guess we'll have to pay to bowl. In fact we're going this afternoon

I checked this out a month or so ago when I saw another post about it. Bummer is that the closest one to us is about 1/2 hr. away, in Anaheim. More with traffic. Good news is that if you are going to the DLR area and you have your own vehicle, the Anaheim one isn't too far away!:

And yes, shoe rental is expensive. My DM and I are using our shoes we've had for 20+ years (just a smidge tight) and I keep looking for ones for DD10. At almost $4 to rent, I would save money buying.

Our bowling alley is half an hour away also. Shoe rental is 2.50. Its a good get a way for the afternoon.

I found out about this last summer thanks to a post on this board and my kids loved it! We are already signed up again for this summer! In addition to the family pass for $24.95, my bowling alley also offered a $10 per person shoe rental for the entire summer! It's about 25-30 minutes away (but we live in a rural area, so most everything is at least 20 minutes away) but it's well worth it for all the fun the kids have! The shoe rental thing wasn't available online, only at the bowling alley, so check your bowling alleys, they may offer something similar.

We did this last summer and just joined again last night. Our bowling alley has free shoe rental for kids and my husband and I bought our own shoes 2 years ago so we don't have to pay for rentals. We figured we'd be bowling with the kids for many years so it was worth it for us to buy shoes. We also got a $25 gift certificate for restaurants.com when we bought the family pass - so it was like getting it for free! We added on our babysitter so she can take the kids during the summer also
