I read somewhere that if you have unexpired Disneyworld passes, you can exchange them on a day by day basis for a disneyland park hopper is this true? Has anyone heard of this or tried it, how does it work. would hate to count on it and then be told it cant be done when i am there.

Yes, unexpired WDW tickets can be used. Take them to the turnstiles, they will be changed for a one day ticket. Repeat each day. You won't get MM with them as they won't be a 3+ day ticket, though.

And anticipating the questions that generally come up...no it doesn't work the other way, no, WDW APs can't be used at DLR (or vice versa), and yes now there is a general *Disney* AP (as Cheshire_Figment put it yesterday) that can be used at both (for about 700 bucks). :)

One more thing: if the WDW tickets are PH then you will get PHs at DLR too.
