Can anyone help me with these questions?

I am doing back-to-back cruises in january and it would be cool if we could stay on board on disembark/embark day. I don't know if this is allowed or not. I am not a U.S. cit although 2 of my kids are so this may be a complication. If I have to get off can I leave my luggage on board? I am traveling alone with 3 kids so that would be a help.

Thanks
Carole

I could have sworn that I had read that everyone (and their things?) needs to be off the ship for custom purposes or something like that....correct me if I am wrong anybody. I knew sometimes they did cold inspections where even all the employees had to entirely off the ship as well....

I'm doing a back-to back-to back in 2006 and plan on staying on board ...I'm a U.S. citizen, though......

I knew someone who did back-to-back on the Wonder and she had to get off the ship in between and wait in the terminal. She didn't, however, have to wait in the long line to return but instead entered earlier. This was quite some time ago now.

Have a WONDERful time. :boat:

I am doing back to back also in July 2006 and was lucky enough to get the same room for both. I was told that we could leave our things in the room but that we would have to get off and then back on again.

There is another thread current with this same question. There are many replies

you can stay onboard - I have back to back planned for 9/06 starting with the 11 day southern caribbean and then a 4 day 3 night right afterwards

That will give me 14 days onboard

INCORRECT

We cruised with a couple from the UK who had done back to back 7 night eastern/western. They did not have to get off the ship. This was in Sept. 2003. They said it was great..being able to stay on ship.

Now, as times have changed, hubby and I booked back to back 14/7 on the magic when she went to CA. In speaking directly to disney about this they said at this time, because of security reasons the decision would be made by the captain and security people on board as to whether or not we would have to get off the ship between cruises. Our luggage and everything could definately stay in our room though. No problem there. We ended up cancelling the 7 night because of port changes on the 14 night we didn't want to repeat two ports so I don't know how it would have come out. I just know what disney told me before we left.

Either way, you will have a great time!
