Disney Property:
So many have said it, I just didnt believe it there is no place like Disney Property!! I love not needing a car. The food wasnt nearly as bad as Ive read or remember.
The Rental at Windsor Palms
If youve been ever hesitate about renting from Windsor Palms, dont be!!! It was a really nice place. It looks like any other neighborhood. Its clean, well groomed, with a few activities. The only draw back (for me anyway) was that there were no mailboxes. Other than that go for it!!!
Disney Meal Vouchers
I loved the Lunch Kingdom Voucher (A: $31 C: $12.75) are worth it if you use them at Rainforest Café. And be careful, because lots of places take them both. Why use one that cost $31 when you can buy one for $11.50. Now the Q & C Vouchers ($11.50) is excellent if you plan to use them at a resort and at Epcot World Showcase Restaurants. Other than that unless you want Burgers w/fries, Hotdogs w/fries, Chicken Strips w/fries, or Pizza w/ fries they were not really worth at most park places for me personally. Will I get them again? Yes but I am staying onsite much longer next time and plan to use them at resort hotels instead at the parks. I had chicken and fries almost every day!!!
The Drive
I dont want to sound funny, but I dont want to do that ride again!!! 2000 miles (round trip) will not see me for many, many years to come!!!
Traveling with a Group
David and I enjoy traveling with a group of people. Weve gone many places by ourselves but seem to enjoy it more with others. If youve read my whole report it wasnt too much drama and we all went home with smiles on our faces, no one was mad at one another and everyone loved the trip!!! In reflection most of the drama came from me (or my husband).

Oh yeah Im going back. Disneyland thing just wasnt working for me!!! Im flying this time. Ive already set the date for the first 2 weeks in August. Im going to try (again) to set up a group!! I got the same quotes $64 +13% for value, $99 +11.5% for moderates, and $119 + 11.5% for Animal Kingdom Lodge. Im setting it up so that everyone makes their own reservations directly to Disney using their own source of down payment (which is one nights plus tax). I have 10 interested families so Im putting together resort brochures, packages and information for people to read and get a feel for the resorts and prices. Ive encouraged everyone to begin setting up a vacation fund (using ING direct or their own bank), and Im going to have soooooooo much fun planning, so youll hear from me again!!! For those traveling next summer and will be staying onsite Aug 5, 2005 you are welcome to take advantages of the prices I just quoted. Under a group you can also buy the meal Q & C vouchers, and the Animal Lunch Vouchers directly from Disney at the same price as Hotwire, set up your own package and stay at any of the resort mentioned above plus a few others (Polynesian $213 + 11.5% tax, Contemporary $219 11.5% tax, Wilderness Lodge $203 +11.5% tax)
Also it doesnt matter when you travel as long as August 5, 2005 is one of those days. We never have to talk or even meet, we are just taking advantage of these prices. PM me if your interested!!! I would just have to give you the name of my group and our coordinator at Disney, which will form officially the 1st of November.
