even if you are staying offsite? We will be at Bonnet Creek in October and I would love to take the kids to the nightly campfire/s'mores with chip and dale.

Sure, park in the parking lot at the entrance and take the bus in to the campfire area.

I still can't believe that parking lot is still so open, I think it and the parking lot by the Boardwalk are the only two remaining "public" parking lots. Not that I want to see it change, I like it that way
