Can two owners traveling together book rooms back to back

Can two owners make 2 separate reservations and have them linked so you dont have to change rooms. (Example Owner 1 uses his points and books a 2 bedroom Mon- Fri. Then Owner 2 books Sat-Weds, can they call guest services to join this reservation.) TIA
 
Yes. I do this within my own memberships and have never had to move even though they will tell you it is a possibility.

Just make sure each owner has a note put on the reservation with the other reservation number and that it’s the same party and a continuous reservation I always double check at check in as well to ensure we are in the same room since if there ever was an issue, it could be fixed right away.
 
I’ve done it several times. My friend and I do a 3 way call to member services to have them note the reservations. We never had to change rooms but we did have to go to the front desk to formally switch over. At Poly, we had magic band issues after the switch. At VGC, we mentioned it at check in but they didn’t have the notes. They were able to work it out.
 
It will remain two reservations, so you will need to check out and check in again. When you check into the first villa, ask if you are blocked into the same villa for the second reservation. Add "Continuing Rervation #XXXXXXX" to each with the other reservation number noted.
 

We have done this a few times using a 3 way call. At some point during our stay we will stop by the front desk to remind them and have never had to check out and then in again.
 
sYou could just transfer X point to your friend and make it one reservation. That way you will not have to move/check out/in and your FPs can be all booked from day 1. Also dining reservations could be made for the entire trip at 180 days..
 
We called and booked a one week reservation in a Grand Villa in Aulani. We are two owners and did a three way call. The reservation always was listed as two, we were told we may have to change, but management brought the new keys up to us, so we didn’t even have to go down to get them.
 
We had no problem staying in the same room, with two different back to back reservations. We only needed both of those on the phone with member services to get it done!
