Can tweens order from pre fixe Space 220 Kid's Menu when in the Lounge?

My picky 11yo won't want anything on the Space 220 adult menu. If we have Lounge reservations, can the 11yo order from the kids menu? Also, if in Lounge, is there an option to order only the entree or is it that you must order the entire kid's pre fixe meal?

They can certainly order from the fixed price adult's meal. I'd be surprised if they are allowed to order from the kid's menu at the kid's price, even in the lounge.

My son has a severe feeding disorder and almost never eats food served in WDW restaurants unless it’s fries. None-the-less, he’s always charged adult prices because that’s the rule and we know it going in. That’s why we choose where we eat even more carefully. Once, a server did give him the kid’s price, but we never asked for it. I’d say they can order from the kids menu, but they’ll be charged the adult price.

At the character breakfast in Epcot, you could tell the server felt really had charging us an adult price since the only thing he got was Froot Loops and didn't even eat those because there simply isn't much he eats. We in no way wanted her to feel bad, but she was going so far out of her way to try and find something for him, she clearly wanted to help. Bless her heart,

You may want to choose to order your tween only a drink in the lounge, or attempt to modify one of the lounge items, like the chicken and waffles - only ask for the chicken if your tween won't eat anything else on the plate...

I belive at WDW TS restaurants, anyone over the age limit is allowed to order food listed on the kid's menu, but they will be charged the adult price. I watched a DFB YouTube video yesterday talking about WDW food tips, and this was mentioned.

I believe you can order from the child's price fixe menu, but are charged the adult price.

I heard a lot of stories at the beginning of Space 220 not allowing non-children to order off the kids menu at all (rules of whoever owns the restaurant). I haven't heard anything recently to know if this trend continued or if they're more lenient about it. Or if the lounge is perhaps not as strict about it.

It might have something to do with the Trading Cards--- our server told us that people were trying to order off of the children's menu purposely in order to get the cards ---
