Can transferred points be banked?

Hello all,
I had points transferred to my account that I intended to use. However, I am on the waitlist and if it does not come through those points won't be used. Can I bank the points I got transferred from another member? If not should I call to use the transferred points for the rest of my stay and then bank my own 08 points? Hope this makes sense, thank you!

Yes, transferred points can be banked.

Remember that the banking window for the transferred points will be determined by the use year of those points. Good luck!

You aren't the only one. Some of the CMs at MS don't get this straight either.

In the past the banking window didn't apply to transferred points, wonder how they're doing it with the rules change?
